The Foundation is engaged
to support the organization of the International festival “March
Music Days”2000 in Rousse. Six of the most outstanding performers
were gratuitously guests of the “Bistra and Galina” Hotel
Financial support of
the youth program “Informal” for a nine-month period, prepared
and realized by teenagers and broadcast by the Regional TV center
– Rousse.
Financing the publishing
of an almanac “Izvor 2000” which contains writings by students
and teachers at “Hristo Botev” secondary school – Rousse, an issue
of the “Elit” Club.
Granting financial
support for the preparation for the world Chess Championship
Financing the
publishing of the book of poetry “Dreaming” by Iglika Peeva, with
pictures of Violeta Radkova;
On 30th May 2000 at 17.30, the “Bistra and Galina” Foundation
and Hotel organized in the Art Gallery a promotion of the book-
both a poetry collection and art catalogue. The book contains
poems by Iglika Peeva, accompanied by paintings by Violeta Radkova
and was presented by the literary critic Konstantin Elenkov.
The
poetess herself performed some of her works, accompanied by the
musician Mihail Shishkov. An exhibition of V. Radkova’s paintings
was organized and the canvases were sold at preferential prices.
The minimal price of the book was 6 levs. The first 20 issues
were numbered and signed by the author and the artist themselves
– their price was 10 levs. The book was published under the aegis
of “Bistra and Galina” Hotel and Foundation. According to its
experts, this is the best publication of a Rousse author for 2000.
