Students awarded grants by the Foundation in the field of Science and Technology:

 

Mihail Nenov

 

first year student of “Korean Studies” at the “St. Kliment Ohridski” Sofia University, awarded a one-year grant. He graduated from the “Geo Milev” English Language School – Rousse. His artistic experience includes performances at “The Art of Synergy” UNESCO festivities for Eastern Europe, organized by SAGE and “The Blue Danube” festival in Pasau. He played the lading part in the musical “How to make circus” on the project of the Jewish Society in Rousse. He took part in recitals on poems by Hristo Botev and Valeri Petrov (fourfold laureate of National prizes). He performed in the plays “The importance of being Earnest” and “Black Comedy”.

 
Victor Karagyaurov
(12). Republic champion in mathematics, awarded a one-year grant. Student at the “Baba Tonka” Mathematics Secondary School in Rousse. He was awarded five prizes by the Mathematicians’ Society in Rousse, Silistra, Pleven, Veliki Preslav; 2 honorary diplomas from the Center for Student Technical and Scientific Development – Rousse; 6 diplomas from the Mathematicians’ Society in Rousse, Gabrovo and Sofia.
 

Ivan Ivanov

the 18-year-old Rousse citizen won the gold medal at the International Olympics in Chemistry in Copenhagen. Just graduated from the “Geo Milev” ELS, he was the first one to bring such a prize to Bulgaria. Ivan also did brilliantly at the National Chemistry Olympics, and at the municipal and regional tours before that. At the moment he is a first-year student at the Medical Academy in Sofia (admitted without examinations) with a one-year grant from the Foundation
