Musicians awarded grants by the Foundation:

 

Bojana Sokolova.

She is 13 years old. She started playing the violin at the age of 4. She studies at the SSA “Prof. Vesselin Stoyanov” in the class of Anelya Popova and plays a “Stradivarius” – a family relic from her grandfather. She has attended Prof. Ifra Neeman’s master’s degree class; Prof. Michael Frishenshlagger, who appointed her for participation in the closing violin concert within the framework of the March Music Days festival. She was awarded the special prize of Ana Ivanova and 2nd and 3rd prize for the first age group in the “Young musical talents 2000” competition. She has attended Prof. Petru Muntianu’s master’s degree class in Schlob Weikerscheim.
 

Boyana Antonova.

She is 18 years old. She is a student at the SSA “Prof. V. Stoyanov” in Rousse. She started her tuition with Elka Efremova and then continued with Bogdana Peneva. At the moment her teacher is Alexandra Elenkova. She has taken part in many competitions, among which are:
1st prize from the National competition “Sv. Obretenov” in Provadia (1998)
1st prize from the National competition “German and Austrian Music” in Bourgas (1999)
She has performed as a soloist in the concerts of Rousse Philharmonic Orchestra, as well as attended master’s degree classes of world-famous violoncello players, who have visited Bulgaria:
1995 – Prof. Ventsislav Nikolov; 1996 – Prof. Maria Kligel; 1997 – Prof. Mikhail Holshuer; 1998 – Prof. Robert Coen; 1999 – Prof. Christoph Richter.

 
Victor Vulkov.
He is 20 years old. Graduated from the SSA ”Prof. V. Stoyanov” – Rousse in 1999, in the class of Mrs. Selvelieva. He was admitted, rating in the first place, into the State Academy of Music – Sofia in the class of Prof. Stella Dimitrova-Maistorova. In 1995 he took part in a competition in Greece and took the third place. In 1998 he was awarded the special prize at the “Alb. Russel” competition. In 1999 he got three prizes at the “Nik. Stefanov” competition: the Great prize of the audience, the Prize for a Young Performer, the Special Prize for French music. He has given concerts with the Philharmonic orchestras of Razgrad and Rousse, as well as with the New Symphony Orchestra (Sofia).
