ART
Annual grant given for exceptional achievements in the field of art to
Alexandra Gabrovska – Foundation grantee for the second year, art student
in the 10th grade of the Rousse Secondary Arts School “Prof. Veselin Stoyanov”.
Laureate of national and international competitions, exhibi-tions and
festivals. Achievements for 2002 – an active participant in the Balkan
Youth Festival held in Pieria, Greece, and in the school exhibition dedicated
to the tenth anniversary of the “Pictorial Art” speciality. She participated
in the representative exhibition of the school in the Ministry of Culture.
Grantee of the National Fund “Culture” of the Ministry of Culture. Alexandra
has contributed a lot to the preparation and realisation of the Foundation
project “Summer Children’s Academy” as animator of the Art Classroom. |

 Provision
of painting materials to Lidya Terezieva – undergraduate in the Rousse
University “Angel Kunchev” – “Engineering Design”. Distinguished with
prizes at many national and international art competitions, initiatives
of local non-governmental organisations; a second-year grantee of the
Foundation. Participation for 2002 – an active participant in the realisation
of the project of the Municipal Service for Social Support – Rousse “We
can do more together” /financed by the Foundation/ and instructor of the
groups of healthy children and groups of disabled children in art and
modelling. Lidya was a beneficent assistant of the Foundation team in
the preparation and realisation of the project “Summer Children’s Academy”
and animator of the Art Classroom. |

Provision of an annual grant to the artist Irina Peneva, 4-year grantee
of the Foundation, undergraduate in the Art Academy of Sofia, speciality
“Poster and Applied Graphics”. |

| Provision of painting materials to Bistra Lozanova - undergraduate in the “St. St. Cyril and Methodius” University - Veliko Turnovo. As a student in the Secon-dary Arts School “Professor Veselin Stoyanov” - Rousse she participated in a number of general exhibitions, plain-airs and charity auctions; she won third place in the competition for a reserved sign on the occasion of the Day of Europe; winner of two first prizes in interschool competitions with verse; she has had her canvasses bought in Bulgaria and Germany. | |
| Provision of painting materials to Kremena Trifonova - student in the 11th grade of the Secondary Arts School “Professor Veselin Stoyanov” - Rousse, Art Class. Kremena participated in the School Competition “100th Anniversary of Veselin Stoyanov”and the XV êîíêóðñ “Alumni of the art schools in Northeast Bulgaria” where she won two first prizes - for a still-life and figure composition; third prize in the competition “Together against Drugs”, organised by the Municipal Youth House - Rousse and fourth en-couragement prize at the art plain-air “International Day of Environment - 2001”, organised by the Municipality of Rousse. | |

| Provision of painting materials to Svilen Radev - artist in the 9th grade of the Secondary Arts School “Professor Veselin Stoyanov” - Rousse. Svilen has been awarded first prizes at the Regional competition “My home, my street, my family” and the competition “Welcome, XXI century” organised by the “Taraleji” newspaper. He has also participated in the international children’s competition in Shankar, India. |
