  Granting Alexander Velikov a single cash prize for exceptional achievements in the field of mathematics and physics. Alexander finished the Mathematics School “Baba Tonka” with honors and presented himself brilliantly at the National Olympiad in Mathematics, as a result of which he was granted a national diploma and admittance to any university in the country. Winner of awards in mathematics: Third place in the world at the Mandelbort competition; First place at the “Kangaroo 2001” maths competition; participation in the “Maths Talents” experiment 200; First place at the Mathematics and Physics in French Competition for Secondary School Students “Minko Balkanski”, organized by the Institute of Higher Research Work for the Development of Culture, Science and Technologies in Bulgaria, as a result of which he was admitted to the elite French university of “Lycee Louis le Grand” in Paris.
  Granting Pavel Belchev a single cash prize for exceptional achievements in the field of mathematics and computer linguistics. Winner of: three First and two Second places at the Republic Championship in Linguistics within the framework of the Winter Mathematics Festival; sevenfold Republic Champion with the team of the Maths and Computer Linguistics School of Rousse. Presently he is a student at the American University of Blagoevgrad, specializing in “Computer Sciences”.
  For achievements in the sphere of chemistry and biology Ivan Nikolaev was granted a yearly scholarship for the 2001/2002 school year. He rated first at the National Olympiad in Chemistry – 2000; participated in the International Olympiad of Chemistry in Bangkok, Thailand – 1999 where he won the bronze medal. In Copenhagen, Denmark, 2000 – gold medal. Second year scholarship student of the Foundation, being Laureate of the National Olympiad in Biology, he was admitted to the Medical Academy of Sofia, in Medicine. Presently, he is a second-year student there with excellent grades.
  Granting Momchil Kyurkchiev a single cash prize in order to cover the fees for his participation in competitions and contests in Mathematics, Computer Studies, Chemistry, Physics, Languages. Winner of 28 awards and diplomas in the above-mentioned fields: Third place at the Olympiad in Mathematics in 1995; Second team place at the Autumn Tournament in Mathematics of the “Prim” magazine; First place in Mathematics at the competition of “Baba Tonka” Mathematics School – Rousse in 1995; First place at the National Olympiad in Mathematics 1997; First place at the regional tour of the Chemistry Olympiad in 1998; Second place at the regional tour of the Physics Olympiad in 1998; Third place at the National Competition in Mathematics for Language Secondary Schools in Bulgaria and many more. He is an active participant in projects of UNESCO associated schools in Bulgaria. Presently, he is a student at “Geo Milev” English Language School – Rousse.
  Granting Ivan Valentinov a single cash prize for exceptional achievements in the field of sciences. Winner of awards at Olympiads in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics: First place at the Olympiad in Physics, First place in the first three rounds of the National Olympiad in Chemistry, participant in the International Cultural Festival of UNESCO associated schools – Rousse ’98 and ’99. Presently he is a student at the American University in Blagoevrad, specializing in Political studies and International relations.
  The Foundation paid the fee for a course in mathematics and computer linguistics for Ivan Dobrev – winner of awards in mathematics and computer linguistics; First place at the “European Kangaroo” Mathematics Competition 2000 and 2001; First place at the Republic competition in Linguistics 2001. Participant in the International Olympiad in linguistics in Moscow 2001; Second prize at the 20th issue of Winter Competitions in Mathematics – Rousse, February 2002. Presently, he is a student at “Geo Milev” English Language School – Rousse.
