  Steliana Barakova (18) – student at Secondary Art School “Prof. V.Stoyanov”, second year scholarship student of the Foundation. Winner of: three Special prizes for “Lyrical Talent”, artistic and masterly performance of works by Bulgarian composers at the International Competition “Music and the Earth” – Sofia; one First prize – for a young performer at the National Competition for Bulgarian Music in Provadia; four Second prizes – the International Competition “The Music of 21 Century” in Kiev, the Ukraine – 1998 and 1999, as a soloist at the International Competition “Coast of Hope” – Dobrich and for a piano duo in the section of English music performance at the International competition “Music and the Earth” – Sofia; two Third prizes – for a piano duo at the International Competition “Coast of Hope” – Dobrich and at the Third Festival of piano duos at the “Young Music Talents” Foundation; participation with the Philharmonic Orchestra of Rousse under the conductorship of Jacque Yves Godin. The Foundation paid the fees for Steliana’s participation in two master degree classes during March Music Days Festival 2001, at the Competition “Music and the Earth” and “German and Austrian Music”.
  Bojana Sokolova - second year scholarship student of the Foundation. Achievements in 2001: completed master degree class with Prof. Iphra Neeman – Great Britain, held in Varna and participation in the closing concert; master degree class with Vanya Milanova – Great Britain, within the framework of “Sasha Popov” Music Academy – Rousse and participation in the closing concert. The Foundation paid Boyana’s fees for participation in the International Competition “Jeunesses musicales 2001” – Bucharest and in the Ninth International Violin Competition in Kloster Schonntal, Germany.
  Yanitsa Hristova (17) - second year scholarship student of the Foundation, student at Secondary Art School “Prof. V.Stoyanov”. Achievements in 2001: First and Special prize “Janeau Heinen” at the Fourth National Competition “German and Austrian Music”; Special prize for artistic performance at the Competition “Music and the Earth”; participation in master degree classes with Prof. Lazar Berman – Varna and Prof. Bojidar Noev within the framework of March Music Days Festival 2001, Prof. Tamara Poddubnaya – Dobrich and Rousse, Prof. Snezhana Barova – Shoumen; First prize at the First National Competition “Vesselin Stoyanov” and First prize for best performance of his work. The Foundation paid Yanitsa’s fees for participation in the National Competition of “German and Austrian Music”, the International Competition “Music and the Earth” and the International Music Festival in Varna 2001.
  Granting a yearly scholarship to the pianist Ina Selvelieva, last year student at State Music Academy – Sofia. Laureate of: “Sv.Obretenov” - Provadia, “D.Nenov” – Razgrad, “P.Vladigerov – Shoumen. Participation in concerts and festivals: ”Pianissimo”, “Sofia Summer”, “Gabrovo Chamber Music Festival”, “Christmas Festival” – Rousse, “Plovdiv Chamber Music Festival”. Ina has played with the Philharmony of Rousse and Shoumen, as well as with the Chamber Orchestra of Gabrovo. She has recorded for Bulgarian National Television, Bulgarian National Radio and Romanian National Television. For 2001 she was a scholarship student of “Raina Kabaivanska” Foundation as well. Achievements in 2001: master degree class with Prof. Bojidar Noev; concerts at the Festival of “March Music Days”; graduation recital at “D.Nenov” Hall; chamber concert during the “Christmas Festival” – Rousse.
  Preslav Ganev - student at Secondary Art School “Prof. V.Stoyanov”. Participant in the International Competition “Young Music Talents” – Sofia; winner of Second prize (First prize unawarded) at the “Hopes, Talents, Masters” Competition – Dobrich; two solo concerts. The Foundation paid the violinist’s fees for participation in competitions and master degree classes with Vanya Milanova, Iphra Neeman, Y.Radionov, Vadim Voyler, Kevork Madrosyan.
  For exceptional achievements and talent in the field of music the pianist Evgeni Bozhanov was granted a yearly scholarship. Winner of many awards, among which five First and three Special prizes at the National Competitions of “Sv.Obretenov” - Provadia, “D.Nenov” – Razgrad, “Fr.Chopin”, the National Piano Competition for contemporary American music – Varna, “Vl.Kraynev” – the Ukraine and the International Competition “Jeunesses musicales 2001” – Bucharest. He has had individual recitals at the International Festivals of “March Music Days”, “Varna Summer”, “Sofia Weeks”, concerts in Warsaw, Poland, as well as multiple solo performances with the Philharmonic Society of Rousse. Achievements in 2001: participant in master degree classes with Boris Bloch, Katrin Vickers, Bojidar Noev, Tamara Poddubnaya; nominated for best participant in the master degree class of Prof. Dmitri Bashkirov, consequently participated in a joint concert with Bloch and Bashkirov in Essen, Germany; he is to participate in the prestigious International Piano Competition of Santander, Spain. Presently, he is a second year student at the Music High School of Essen in the class of the eminent piano pedagogue Boris Bloch.
  For exceptional achievements and talent in the field of music the violoncellist Boyana Antonova was granted a yearly scholarship, as well as covering the fees for her participation in the master degree class of Prof. Robert Coen. Second year scholarship student of the Foundation. Laureate on national and international competitions: First prize at the “Young Talents” National Competition – Sofia; First prize at the International Competition “Music and the Earth” – Sofia; First prize at the National Competition “Dobri Hristov” – Varna; winner of the “Plaque of Rousse” prize for greatest achievement in the sphere of art – it is the first time that the prize has been awarded to a student. Having finished her secondary education with honors at the Secondary Art School “Prof. V.Stoyanov”, she was awarded a national diploma and admitted to the State Music Academy “P.Vladigerov” – Sofia with the highest score at the entrance exam among all the candidate students. Achievements in 2001: prize in the name of Geiorgi Naidenov for most pronounced achievement as student specializing in “low string”; participation in a concert as a soloist of Rousse Philharmony; participation in the master degree class of Prof. Robert Cohen and the closing concert within the framework of March Music Days Festival.
  Victor Vulkov – pianist, second year scholarship student of the Foundation. Achievements in 2001: he won the Grand prize at the “Zeiler” competition and consequently was invited to a seminar in Germany including participation in concerts; First prize at the “Music and Earth” Competition – Sofia, recitals at “Apolonia”, in the concert hall of the Union of Bulgarian Composers – Sofia, in “P.Vladigerov” Hall – Sofia, Plenary Hall – Rousse, “Bulgaria” Hall – Sofia; participation in a chamber concert (for cello and piano) of Hungarian music at the Hungarian Cultural Institute; chamber concert in the framework of “Chamber Festival” – Sofia; participation in a master degree class with Prof. Lazar Berman at “Varna Summer”. Oncoming performances: participation in March Music Days – Rousse; “Sofia Music Weeks”; concert with New Symphony Orchestra; solo recital at the opening of the National Piano Competition in Greece; Chamber concert – Russian trios; Chamber concert at the French Cultural Center.
  The Foundation paid Silvia Kyoseva’s fees for participation in the International Piano Competition “M.Yudina” in Saint Petersburg – January 2002, where she won Third place. Laureate of international and national competitions: First and Special prize at the International Competition “Fr.Chopin” – Varna; First prize at the “Hopes, Talents and Masters” Competition - Dobrich 2001; First prize at the National Competition “Sv.Obretenov”; First prize at the National Competition “Fr.Schubert” – Rousse 2001. He finished master degree classes with Professors Paolo Pomoche, Katrin Vickers, Boris Bloch, Bojidar Noev and Tamara Poddubnaya. Presently, she is a student at the Secondary Art School “Prof. V.Stoyanov” - Rousse.
